Playful Social content to promote Odeon retail offers

PROJECT DETAIL

Overview

Odeon Cinema asked us to help them promote their new retail products across their social channels.

The first brief was to promote the arrival of popcorn toppers, where customers can add oreos, pretzels or M&Ms to their popcorn. We wanted to create a playful sense of narrative around the idea of the popcorn falling in love with new ingredients. The result was 3 stop frame animations celebrating the tasty new combinations.

For the new ‘Despicable me 3’ cup toppers, we developed a bright and friendly aesthetic that combined stop frame animation with animated illustrations. Playing on the vibrant personality of the film and characters viewers are invited to pick their favourite or collect all 6.
